Tried to delete the field and then the bundle. Got the same WSOD "The website encountered an unexpected error. Try again later."
Then tried to uninstall the module and got the same error pages.

This probably doesn't have anything to do with the ECK as you get the white screen error adding a serial field to a content type without the ECK module being installed.

I agree with Comment #3: based on the Drush error message, this issue seems to be a duplicate of 🐛 Error message: There was an unexpected problem serving your request RTBC .
I just accepted the MR for that issue, and I will create a new release. Please re-test and see whether the problem has been fixed.
I am setting the status to PMNMI. If the re-test shows there is still a problem, please update the status. If there is no further response for two months, I may close this issue.
