Possible to show avatar in place of "My Account" in menu

As a space-saving and user customization feature, could the avatar generated here (including for authenticated users who haven't set one) replace the "My Account" text in the default user menu?

I'm imagining a Slack/Microsoft Teams-style look that would save valuable horizontal space in the menu.
