Can we go back to the old Selection List field definition?

In general, I really like the new mechanism for creating a Field where the answer must be elected from a list of numbers or strings. The individual drag-and-drop boxes for each entry are nice.

It's just a few of my projects needs to select from several hundred entries. In the past, it was easy for me to just take a block of text from a text editor and drop it in the box for the field. Each line was converted into a possible entry. But now it looks like I need to cut and paste each line individually. If there are 10 or fewer lines, that's no problem. But when there are hundreds, it's a slog.

Is there some other interface that lets me do this the old way? Am I missing something? I don't want to complain about innovation because this looks like an improvement. It's just a pain for my particular use case.
