Work here is ready for review. This work combines Smart Date with new designs of the Events node and improvements to the Event Listings and Featured Event block.

Marking this for review for a code review, but there are still a few pieces to finalize before it's ready to merge. Also I think it should be a new version, either a point release or actually a whole new version given the changes.
