The "gid" column of the nodeaccess and node_access tables is an integer field, but roles haven't had numeric IDs since at least Drupal 8. This makes it difficult to figure out what is meant by a nodeaccess_rid rule with a gid=1 ... is that the anonymous role? or authenticated? what?
Explain in the README.txt that the role map can be obtained with drush config-get nodeaccess.settings role_map
