Quick solutions:

Try switching to core themes: Claro or Seven.

If not using core themes, press the label before checkboxes, not the checkboxes.

Slow/ Real solutions:
The trouble themes should know how to work with core conventions, hence placing titles before and after checkboxes are core supported behaviors. It works fine with core themes. If contribs don't, then the patch should go to those trouble themes.

We used to babysit contrib themes since 2014, but since core themes are beautiful OOTB since D9, we no longer need to support many other contrib themes. In fact we had removed our own stone age CSS for quite a while thanks to D9 core awesomeness.
