Branding Block will not show Site slogan when toggled for display

Problem/Motivation

I don't know if this is a theme issue, because I think I also found it with UI Suite Material:
The Site branding block has configuration checkboxes to display Site logo, Site name, and Site Slogan. Even though I set all three, only the Site logo and Site Name are displayed.

I notice that the component file ui_suite_olivero_site_branding has the following settings:

Steps to reproduce

  1. Enable UI Suite Olivero
  2. Set Site name and Site slogan (different) in System/Basic site settings.
  3. Place Site branding block and configure to show Site logo, Site name, and Site Slogan.
  4. View branding block to see that the Site slogan is not displayed.
