Steps Reproduce:
1. Installed and enabled the module using Composer with the command: composer require 'drupal/created_date_views_filters:^1.0'.
2. Create a view and add a filter (Year filter - Filter) on this field.
3: If the filter type is "exposed", filter works fine but if filter is not exposed type it shows an empty view.
I've attached an image illustrating my actions—installing the module and searching within the extend panel.
