Problem with Adding new content type

I am encountering an issue when I am adding a new content type.

Steps Reproduce:

1. Installed and enabled the module using Composer with the command: composer require 'drupal/prevent_entity_unpublished:^1.0'.

2: Going to Home > Administration > Structure > Content types > Add content type

3: After clicking the "Save and manage fields" it throws an error. error mention below

TypeError: Drupal\prevent_entity_unpublish\EntityPreupdate::entityUpdate(): Argument #1 ($entity) must be of type Drupal\Core\Entity\EntityInterface, null given
