1. Check for the deprecations in the module.
2. Make necessary changes for d10 compatibility
3. Create a patch OR merge request for it.
4. Review the code

    Ah yes you are right.

    I was initially looking at the "recommended" section on the module homepage. Minor issue then but I guess the maintainer can update that.
