Problem/Motivation

PHP error crashes website in latest Varbase version, Drupal 10.1.

Steps to reproduce

composer require 'drupal/fontawesome_menu_icons:^2.0'
drush in fontawesome_menu_icons
drush cr

Launching Drupal in browser returns error: "The website encountered an unexpected error. Please try again later.".

Watchdog output:

'Error: Call to a member function getOptions() on string in _fontawesome_menu_icons_preprocess_menu_item() (line 383 of /var/www/varbase/docroot/modules/contrib/fontawesome_menu_icons/fontawesome_menu_icons.module).'
