Update structure for Updating Drupal pages

Created on 16 November 2023, almost 2 years ago

Problem/Motivation

The Updating Drupal section and sub-pages could use a clean-up, some pages can be merged, and the order of pages updated.

Maybe the "Options for updating Drupal core" page can be removed altogether, making "Updating Drupal core via Composer" the first option on this page, since "Updating Drupal core manually" is not recommended anyway?

Also maybe move up the "Updating modules ..." page and "Drupal updates and deployments" pages?

This could be the new order, after deleting ("DEL") the Options page (new position with #):

DEL Options for updating Drupal core
#1 Updating Drupal core via Composer
#2 Updating Modules and Themes using Composer
#3 Drupal updates and deployments
    Updating Drupal core manually
    Updating Drupal core via Drush
Migrating the Composer project for Drupal earlier than 8.8.0
    Troubleshooting database updates
Known database update issues and workarounds
Responding to critical security update advisories
    Automatic Updates
