Problem/Motivation

The "Number of results" functionality fails to operate when the "On click" option for the suggestions dropdown is enabled

Steps to reproduce

  • As admin user, go to /admin/structure/types/manage/article/form-display, set Number of results with a value bigger than 0, and enable 'On click' option on Suggestions dropdown.
  • Go to the entity reference field where Tagify widget is allowed and check if the number of result match with the setting previously set.
