Base fields not manageable?

Problem/Motivation

In the description of ECK I read that "ECK allows the creation and management of entity types with custom properties", but:
-) I can't find a way as a site builder to add base fields (i.e. custom properties) to an entity type created with ECK, fields can olny be added to bundles.
-) Base fields added with "Easy Entity Base field" module to a custom entity type created with ECK are not visible in ECK - I see only the usual standard 5 basefield created/changed/author/title/status.
Am I missing something?

Steps to reproduce

Just create a new entity type with ECK and try to add base fields to it or add a base field with another module and try to enable/disable it throught ECK UI - both operations are not possible

Yeah, that's the impression I'm getting, too. I've only poked with the UI at this point, haven't dug into the "developer" path of using ECK but doing everything via code...

Try Easy Entity Base Field → . I did test and it works with ECK.
To see fields in Views - clear cache.

You're right, this is currently not possible. This feature has been requested before, closing this in favour of that one.
