Error when generate variation (file_create_url)

@hbdigit thank you for identifying this, and for providing a fix. I will point out that the "Patch (to be ported)" status is intended for an issue where a patch has been merged but the maintainer still wants wants to port the patch to other branches. Moving the issue to "Needs review" after posting your patch is the expected workflow. Thanks again!
