Commerce product variation chained fields

Problem/Motivation

When a product variation is selected with the add to cart form the chained fields are not updated with the ajax call.

Steps to reproduce

Add product variation chained fields to the product type, add the add to cart form and test with product variations that have different images.

The product variation image is not updated. The first variation image is always shown.
