    Hi arif.zisu,
    Thanks for reporting this. Can you show me the job that reports this? Is it PHPstan or in a job log? Testing on DrupalCI does not report this, neither do the GitLab pipelines.

    I've just noticed you reported this against 7.x-1.5 which was release in 2016. We have done some PHP8 compatibility work over the last 7 years. Have you tried with 7.x-1.x-dev ?

    By the way 'needs work' is a status which is applicable if a patch or merge request with code chnages has been started, but 'needs more work'. If there is no code yet, then 'active' is the correct status.
