Ajax submission by (ctrl+enter) causes jquery errors

Problem/Motivation

• The ajax submission through clicking the button works fine.
• Submission with keyboard navigation and hitting just enter on the button also works fine.
• But the submit fails when we try to do it with (ctrl + enter) which should in theory submit the form, but instead fails with jquery errors.

Steps to reproduce

This was observed on the issue ✨ Use modals in field creation and field edit flow Needs work , when we try to add a new field to article/page and come to the last step (the config edit form), and hit (ctrl + enter) while keeping the focus on one of the form elements.
