This is just an idea and not something I'm planning to implement myself, unless we need it or someone sponsors the development. But it would be nice to have an advanced example portlet, which allows to render an (AJAX) form in the homebox display (not form) which can be used for node-taking.
Happy to review MR's if someone is interested to write that functionality in the examples submodule.
If we want that as general feature, not just as example, it would be a further submodule.
