* Activate tax number in customer profile (/admin/config/people/profile-types/manage/customer/form-display)
* Configure tax number to show only for European countries (/admin/config/people/profile-types/manage/customer/fields/profile.customer.tax_number)
* Create a new order and select to enter a new address
* If the initial country value is a European one (e.g. Germany) then the tax field does not show up
* Switch to some other country and back -> tax number shows up
This is a major issue for reverse charge orders as the tax number is mandatory. Users get a message "This value should not be null." but the field is still hidden.
Tested with Firefox and Chromium.
