Problem/Motivation

From 🐛 Wrong DRUPAL_ROOT with non-standard code structure RTBC , in a conversation at DrupalCon Lille:

> we've agreed that Scaffold's purpose is generally 'Make the Composer project happy with Drupal's weirdnesses'. It already generates the autoload.php file.

However, the README for the plugin starts with:

This project provides a composer plugin for placing scaffold files (like
`index.php`, `update.php`, …) from the `drupal/core` project into their desired
location inside the web root. Only individual files may be scaffolded with this
plugin.

This is incomplete and misleading.
