Email confirmation to cancel account hasn’t been sent

Problem/Motivation

Enabling the 'Require email confirmation to cancel account' option in 'Cancel Users' does not trigger notifications to users when their accounts are canceled.

    Hi there.

    In Drupal, you can configure cancellation email in your Account settings as follows:

    1. Login in the backend.
    2. Navigate to config -> People -> Account Settings.
    3. Scroll down to the emails section to configure your email setting

    I was right. you need to configure cancellation email in your Account settings as follows for the email to be sent.
