Clicking any link in the node edit form triggers the 'leave preview' dialog

Problem/Motivation

When clicking on any link in the node edit form while the preview is open, the 'leave preview' dialog opens. Having an open same page preview shouldn't prevent me from navigating away from the page.

Steps to reproduce

Click on any link on the node edit form while the preview is open.

Proposed resolution

I think this should primarily be fixed in core: 🐛 Preview link click protection is not correctly scoped Needs work . In the meantime, we could try to come up with a workaround.
