I've inherited a project that uses search_api_glossary and noticed regressions going from 4.1 to 4.2.
Perhaps others have noticed this.
Perhaps I'm missing some important instructions.
I did not notice any schema updates.
Adding this as a placeholder for now, details to follow.
Symptoms include but not limited to:
Label text vanishing and options changing unexpectedly.
Translations breaking.
Labels changing.Upgrade from 4.1 to 4.2
Downgrade to 4.1, or fix 4.2 with a patch, or learn about documentation for missed upgrade process.

hmm, might not actually be THIS module causing my issues, still investigating
This issue had nothing to do with the search_api_glossary module and was unrelated, sorry for the noise here. Closing as "Works as designed".
