Security concerns

I see a lot of potential use cases for this module, but was wondering if there were also potential security concerns to be considered, such as for the index.php, htaccess, and other files displayed. Is this mitigated with role permissions access? Are there any other concerns or exposed vulnerabilities that should be discussed?
