Handle validation errors

Problem/Motivation

When there are validation errors, the frontend editing sidebar is anyway closed and there is no identification that there was any error.

Steps to reproduce

Submit invalid form data, that should fail the validation. See, that the sidebar is closed and the page is not updated. And no message is shown about the error.

Proposed resolution

Do not close the sidebar and display the error message instead.
