I am not able to reproduce the issue can you brief the steps.
I checked on Drupal 9.5.x and Drupal 10.0.x its working fine without showing any error.

The problem mentioned by @dpacassi is that when you create a new social media link with the plugin annotation the formatter setting does not count it in the list, thus its undefined and it displays the warning.

I am on drupal 10.3 and can confirm the patch solved the issue for me.
