LDAP Query: option to only update Users, not create

Problem/Motivation

The user update mechanism allows to update existing drupal accounts and creating drupal accounts which are available via LDAP. In my case, only updating user should be allowed. Creating the drupal user automatically via Cron was not what I wanted.

Steps to reproduce

Run LDAP cron. User automatically created

Proposed resolution

Allow only updating user. Configurable via settings form

Description

I created a patch which provides a checkbox. Enable this checkbox if you want to update the user only and not creating via cron. This setting can be found here:

  • /admin/config/people/ldap/user

in fieldset Periodic user update mechanism. Check screenshot.
