Problem/Motivation

I have a node, with a geofield (latitude/longitude widget), where the saved value is not in a latitude/longitude format.
Which results in the following textarea with a message:

When I save the node, I get the following error:

TypeError: Cannot access offset of type string on string in Drupal\geofield\Plugin\Field\FieldWidget\GeofieldLatLonWidget->massageFormValues()
