The machine name of the "Configuration split setting" and the "Folder" name are not the same in the example

Since that is documentation for a contributed module, it is better to report this in the project issue queue. The maintainer of that documentation guide is one of the project maintainers.

But you do not need to create issues to fix the documentation! It is a wiki and you can just go ahead and rectify what you think is wrong.

Please bear in mind that that page also needs to be overhauled to be correct for config split 2.x.
