At time to validate module dependencies website into drupal 9 I got this message:

Drupal 9 should be OK with having that in there. I believe it was Drupal 10 that required it be dropped. In any case, you should upgrade to version 2.2.0, which doesn't have it in there and is compatible with both Drupal 9 and Drupal 10.
