Product variations not filtered when adding order item in cart edit form

Is this a duplicate of 🐛 Order of specific type allows adding order items of type that are not intended for that order type Needs review ?

tbh I couldn't make sense of the description of that issue. But I applied the patch and it did not solve the problem, so I assumed it was different.
