Paragraphs ee + gin, modal and off-canvas options broken

Problem/Motivation

Recently we updated to gin latest version, when checking a paragraph component we found out the form is completely broken, the paragraph options show below the field and the "add" buttons are gone. We tested with the claro admin theme and the off-canvas modal shows up only when clicking the add buttons, for better reference I'm uploading 2 reference images.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Install and enable paragraphs editor enhancements module 2.1.0
  2. On any content type configure a Entity reference revisions field
  3. Manage form display and select Paragraphs (stable) widget
  4. Configure the widget with the following options
  • Add mode: modal form
  • Form display mode: default
  • Enable widget features: duplicate, collapse / Edit all, add above
  • Enable confirmation on paragraphs remove: enabled
  • Enable add in between buttons: enabled
  • Form display mode: default
  • Number of add in between links: at least 1
  • Show drag & drop button: enabled
  • Use off-canvas instead of modal dialog: enabled or disabled the issue shows up in both options

Proposed resolution

We think this is a JS conflict but we're not sure, it maybe worth updating or removing anything that's conflicting with the paragraphs ee code.
