I have checked in my local setup I am not facing this issue. i'm abled to get the inherited field after enabling the layout builder .
After setting up field inheritance, I can see the inherited field in manage display.
However, when layout builder is enabled, the field is not available.
Configure an inherited field from a referenced content type.
Enabled layout builder on the inheriting entity.
The inherited field is not available.
