+1 same issue for me, added "algolia/algoliasearch-client-php": "~3.3.0" to my composer.json for now.

It looks like this update is no longer necessary for Drupal 10.1.x, but is for 10.0.x. Not sure how to handle that :)

The Update is also necessary for Drupal 9.x. Also not sure how to handle it.

Considering workaround is possible in 9.x and 9.x is no longer supported I am inclined towards not doing any fix for this.
