The opened / active state is lost when the sidebar is collapsed

Problem/Motivation

When a new page is loaded the active item is shown and placed in the current viewport, which is the desired behavior. But if the sidebar is collapsed and opened again, the submenu is no opened anymore and there is no context of the current page on the sidebar anymore.

Proposed resolution

If the menu was opened before collapsing the sidebar, it should stay opened when the sidebar is opened again.
