Maximum number of items?

I'm encountering something that, I'm not sure if whether to call it a "bug", or a documentation issue.

I set up the Fullcalendar View module and everything appeared to work well. I began entering my items, and they were showing up on the view, all was good, but after I had entered several, I started to notice that as I entered a new one, others that had been entered, and were showing up, suddenly are no longer showing on the calendar. I looked at the view itself, and I noticed a pager, which was set to 12 items. I hadn't paid that a lot of attention, as I just presumed that the 12 items referred to the 12 months of the calendar. But as I went through my calendar, and counted, I found that, sure enough, there were TWELVE items that were showing, across a span of 4 or 5 months. I changed that pager to 120, and saved it, and all of my items show again. But I'm confused by this setting, as that default 12-item setting would - at best - only allow me to enter an average of one item per month.
So I seem to have resolved my issue, and I'm presuming that I can just remove that pager, and the view will show however many items may be entered. But before taking any further action on this, I wanted to reach out to the developers to inquire if there is some purpose of this pager (and the unusually low initial setting) that I'm not seeing.

A Drupal View will display a certain number of items in one page. If you want to display all items in one page, then do not use paging.

In this case, that pager setting is cumulative. Once I enter the 13th event, one of them no longer shows up. It doesn't matter how much are on any given month/page.

This module doesn't support pager feature, in other words, it is working as designed.

OK... I'm confused. I'm not arguing that it is "working as designed", but if, as you say, the module doesn't support the pager feature, why does the example setup given right here in https://www.drupal.org/project/fullcalendar_view β†’ specifically call out using it? (I refer to point '5' in the attached screenshot)

Man, open your eyes. The screen shot you referenced said that β€œdisplay all items β€œ, in other words β€œDO NOT USE PAGING β€œ
