Hello Drupal community!
I hope this message finds everyone well. As part of the team working on the phpGPX library, I wanted to reach out and announce some important updates that will be included in the next major release of our library.
The upcoming release will introduce several breaking changes that may affect existing implementations within the Drupal ecosystem that depend on the phpGPX library. We are in the process of revamping certain core functionalities to improve efficiency and performance. While we believe these changes will ultimately enhance the library, we are aware that they may cause some disruption to current users.
Since the phpGPX library has been utilized in the Drupal modules to handle GPX files, we want to ensure that the Drupal community is well-informed and prepared for these changes. Your insights, ideas, and experiences as active users are valuable to us, and we encourage an open discussion around these modifications.
We would like to invite members of the Drupal community to actively participate in shaping the future of the phpGPX library. Whether it's sharing ideas, suggesting improvements, or contributing to the development directly, your involvement will undoubtedly help us create a better library that caters to the needs of the Drupal community.
I would like to add that I am unsure whether creating an issue like this might be considered spam within the community, and for that, I sincerely apologize. My sole intention is to foster collaboration and ensure a smooth transition with the upcoming changes.
