GDPR Cookie Compliance

Problem/Motivation

General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into effect on 25th May 2018, and the EU Directive on Privacy and Electronic Communications from 2012. GDPR requires you can gather consent from the user when storing cookies or otherwise handling personal information.

Proposed resolution

Block (banner) to gather consent from the user. Drupal.org does something similar as does the EU Cookie Compliance module.
