Benefits of components vs. SDC

I've been reading about SDC being included as an experimental module for D10.

Over the past couple of years, I've used `drupal/components` and have had good experience.

Curious to learn are the benefits associated with using SDC rather than `drupal/components`?

Components module registers Twig namespaces so that you can reference them easily. SDC goes a step further on integrating the pattern with Drupal. While they are similar modules, Components seems to take a minimalist approach with a focus on Twig.
