An error occurs during logging in to a web service (after updating Captcha to 8.x-1.13)

Problem

After updating Captcha module to version 8.x-1.13, I started getting the following error when I was trying to log in to my web site.
The website encountered an unexpected error. Please try again later.

Steps to reproduce

Having the following set of components installed try to log in to a web service
Drupal core 9.5.10
CAPTCHA 8.x-1.13
CAPTCHA Riddler 2.0.4

Proposed resolution

It looks like drupal/web/modules/contrib/riddler/riddler.module may need some fix, as CAPTCHA_DEFAULT_VALIDATION_CASE_SENSITIVE and CAPTCHA_DEFAULT_VALIDATION_CASE_INSENSITIVE constants do not seem to exist any more. I modified this module to get my web service working (and attached diff showing the changes), however, it may not be a proper solution.
