Integrate unique_content_field_validation for a unique name

Problem/Motivation

It may be useful, like it is for me, to have a user entered (storage entity) name field to be validated as unique.
The unique_content_field_validation module already provides this with support for all core fields, even the "special" node title or term name, so would it be possible to integrate it to allow configuring the name label as unique?

    I'd rather say that the module itself, providing such validation feature, should be (made) capable of supporting any content entity, including Storage entities. Doesn't make much sense to integrate any possible 3rd party module from here.
