I'm working through a number of issues in upgrading a site from Drupal 9.5.10 to 10.1.0 and one issue involves using Photoswipe as the media switcher in a Splide slider.

I have updated Photoswipe to the latest 5.x-dev and Splide to latest 1.0.x-dev and clicking on an image in a splide slider just opens the image in a non-photoswipe viewer where you have to hit the back button to return the the content.

I'm seeing the following errors in the logs:

  • Theme hook photoswipe_container not found.
  • Warning: file_get_contents(libraries/photoswipe/dist/umd/photoswipe-lightbox.umd.min.js): Failed to open stream: No such file or directory in _locale_parse_js_file() (line 1092 of /home/customer/www/dev.kobejet.com/web/core/modules/locale/locale.module)
