Getting banned on own site

I use Google's Project Shield for a site to prevent DDOS attacks.

The result is that many of the rules (especially those requesting wp-login etc) are resulting in the Google IPs being banned.

As a result I myself am getting banned from my Drupal site.

What is the way to circumvent this issue?
