    3.0.x version compatible with D10 only.
    You can use 2.0.x version for D9.

    Facing the same problem while enabling "bibcite_entity" before doing a migration (bibcite_migrate). Results in a WSOD and throws same php error mentionned in the initial issue. Using version 3 with Drupal 9.5 and php 8.2. As I understand the release presentation, version 3 is supposed to work D9 or you should change the release page to avoid confusion.

    3.0.0-beta3 released 5 July 2023
    Works with Drupal: ^8 || ^9 || ^10
    ✓ Recommended by the project’s maintainer.
    Drupal 10 compatibility for PHP 8.1+
