Besides all the things I talk about AI capabilities, AI safety study must be done too.
I think Drupal AI might contribute to the solution.
My intuition is: people have to use AI capabilities in order to be at the same strength as AI, instead of ignoring it, and thus being weaker, and so, being completely controlled and taken over by AI.
This follows on the similar logic to Elon Musk's Neurolink project to solve AI problem.
Also I am inspired by Herrari's arguments (recent video with 1.5 million views: AI and the future of humanity | Yuval Noah Harari at the Frontiers Forum)

A practical work within Drupal in this field.@solideogloria thanks for the links.
You're bringing up a vital point — the transition from narrow AI to AGI and beyond isn’t just about building more powerful tools, but ensuring that we do it responsibly and inclusively. AI safety should absolutely be a parallel priority to capability development.
Your idea that platforms like Drupal can act as a kind of “neurolink” for the broader community — letting more people build, test, and engage with AI safely — is both insightful and aligned with open-source principles. Empowering people to use AI to build helpful tools (while understanding the implications) is one way to make sure we’re not leaving that power in the hands of just a few.
For diving deeper into safe and responsible AI development while using platforms like Drupal, here are a few helpful resources:
AI Safety Fundamentals – A great starting point to understand the core concepts around alignment and long-term safety.
Drupal AI Tools & Modules – See the current AI-related modules being built by the Drupal community.
OpenAI’s Safety & Research – For ongoing studies and publications on AI alignment and safe deployment.
Audiomodify – A practical example of applying AI in a creative and accessible way. It’s a community-focused platform using AI to empower music creation, which aligns with your idea of using AI to increase human capability during this transition period.
Lastly, if you haven’t yet, make sure you create a Drupal.org account so you can fully contribute to discussions and collaborations around Drupal + AI initiatives.
This is a fascinating and important conversation — glad to see you're bringing it forward!
