Problem/Motivation

  1. Keep dropdown open to select more when multiple choices are allowed.
  2. Preserve dropdown choices until the next search input.
  3. Retain placeholder option between searches.
  4. Provide default "- Select a value -" placeholder on required fields.
  5. Provide default "- None -" placeholder on non-required fields.
  6. Allow unsetting value by always adding a empty value placeholder.
  7. Add box shadow to dropdowns.
  8. Revise hook to alter both the element and attachment settings.
