Blog Display Modes Errors - can't change display format

Problem/Motivation

When viewing (attempting to change) the display mode of the content type Blog, the following error is thrown:

Steps to reproduce

Given - that I want to move the medium vertical teaser headline above the image rather than below the image.
When - when I try to edit the display for the blog post. See screenshot of what causes the error
Then - the error noted is thrown.

    You are right, Varbase 10 Alpha had a big change:

    • Issue #3370171 → : Switched display modes for the Varbase Blog content type to use Card view modes with SDC Card components and UI Patterns layouts
    • Issue #3367498 → : Refactored default Card components and patterns with media and Card Style Size integrations
    • Issue #3367867 → : Refactored default config templates for View Modes Inventory to use default SDC Card components with patterns

    It is all good, just capturing my experiences. I create a new view for myself and use that. I look forward to learning more about these new card based views and how to migrate towards using them. Thanks.

    Migration will follow for sure, when the stable version of VMI 3.0.0 is out.
    Only think of Cards as another word for teasers ( Not sure if Drupal Core will switch to this terminology )
    Which most designers are using it now.
