Support for Mimemail module

Problem/Motivation

The Mime Mail → module gives Drupal core and other Drupal modules the ability to send HTML email messages. This is an all-Drupal solution that does not require external third-party libraries.

It would be really good if we could use the mimemail module and alongside it be able to log mail transmitted using the module.

Proposed resolution

Hook into emails sent by mimemail and log them.

I think that this is possible, with the Mail System module → - here is our configuration where we are sending mails formatted using mimemail, and captured by maillog.

However, the HTML tags are displayed, rather than being rendered - see ✨ Render HTML message in iFrame Needs work for more on that.
