When a complex field mapping is used to map the identifier field, xnttmulti is not able to get the corresponding identifier value.
Either add another field in the xnttmulti config interface to provide the field name of the field used as identifier or use the user field mapper if possible. However, there seems to be some technical issues to use the field mapper as it can not provide an external entity input data field value but rather all the final Drupal field values... to be investigated.
Investigate.
